Madrid Distribution Centre Site Survey

Last week, ODA’s Senior Mechanical Designer, Michael Picchi, Senior Electrical Designer, Arkadiusz Satro, and Refrigeration Design Engineer, Irshad Mohammad, attended a 2-day site visit near Madrid.

The team was asked to review the condition and installation of an existing distribution centre for a global company looking to occupy the building. The site consisted of multiple cold stores, freezer and ambient storage areas, including prep areas and offices.

A mechanical, electrical and refrigeration survey was carried out so we could inform the client of what they have, and don’t have on site, and we’ll soon be sending across a report of our findings. This information will enable the client to consider all the practical, technical and commercial implications before progressing with the site, supporting informed decision-making and reducing risk at an early stage.
